Stella Benton

Stella has been a member and active volunteer with the American Red Cross since 2015, with a focus in the public relations arena. She has also been an active member of the American Cancer Society since 2015 and a Legislative Ambassador since 2016 with the organization. A fight that she holds near and dear to her heart.

As a resident of Marin City and a history of living in the village; Stella also works to support the Friends of Golden Gate Village in a variety of ways. Additionally, in 2021 she joined the Marin Interfaith Council and currently serves as their Board Secretary. She also participates as a key member of the financial subcommittee there.

Stella finds passion in the efforts and goals of the Mt. Tam Community Land Trust partly in being a millennial; a group and generation inclusive of many of the essential workforce in Marin County. She remains an active advocate of efforts that find solutions for those key members of this group unable to live and thrive in our local communities. Stella is determined in her work to provide opportunities to overcome the strong market barriers in Marin often encountered by those who contribute and enrich these communities so significantly.
